Tim Voss > Winter Woods, Crosby Farm Park; Saint Paul, Minnesota

A little bit of new show can really brighten up the cottonwoods and silver maple trees.
Tim Voss > Winter Along Minnehaha Creek; Minneapolis, Minnesota
Tim Voss > Truck Yard; La Crosse, Wisconsin

The North American Van Lines fleet at La Crosse wasn't looking real busy. If people don't buy houses, it hurts moving companies. Everything connects.
Tim Voss > Freightliner Headlights; La Crosse, Wisconsin
Tim Voss > 3:36 P.M; Mcgregor, Iowa

It was a dark gray Sunday afternoon. There weren't many people about. I took it the way it was, then made it a bit more so.
Tim Voss > Rattlesnake Head Key Fob; Mcgregor, Iowa

Look closely. It's there, ready to strike. Can't say if it's a real head or not, but it's certainly tacky. None of this is what I'd expect in an old Mississippi River town. Maybe it appeals to the tourists...
Tim Voss > Bookstore; Saint Paul, Minnesota

Independent booksellers are all too rare around here these days. Common Good Books in Saint Paul is one of the few that remain. It's tucked, almost hidden, in the basement of a beautifully restored Victorian business block. I hope it thrives. www.commongoodbooks.com
Tim Voss > Selby Avenue Looking Towards Western Avenue; Saint Paul, Minnesota
Tim Voss > Skylights

I've been taken with photographing through windows of late. Most of the efforts haven't been worth keeping. This one might be.
Tim Voss > Descending a Staircase; Saint Paul, Minnesota

I took this one in a hurry...
Tim Voss > Broken Window; Mcgregor, Iowa

There's nothing to say.
Tim Voss > Fence Line; Clayton County, Iowa

I pondered this one for a good while, and finally decided that color was best. Not that there's much color...
Tim Voss > Jars and Cans

I was after an effect with this one. Call it interpretation.

The old barn was full of diffused light and interesting things. It was also a cold place in winter. So this was done handheld with a high ISO.

Tim Voss > Wheel

The old barn was full of diffused light and interesting things. It was also a cold place in winter. So this was done handheld with a high ISO. This wheel was part of a small brush hog mower.
Winter Woods, Crosby Farm Park; Saint Paul, Minnesota
