Tim Voss > Merriam Street Bridge at Night; Minneapolis, Minnesota

There's a bit of breeze even on the calmest evening. So there's a bit of blur in the tree branches. You decide if it matters.

Merriam Street connects Nicollet Island with Main Street in old St. Anthony Village (the oldest part of Minneapolis).
Tim Voss > Coral Rose in Black and White, Rose Garden; Minneapolis, Minnesota
Tim Voss > Zinnia in Black and White, Lyndale Gardens; Minneapolis, Minnesota

A young zinnia becomes something very different when viewed in black and white.
Tim Voss > Cathedral of Saint Paul and Selby Avenue in Winter; Saint Paul, Minnesota

Construction on the Cathedral of Saint Paul began in 1907. The church was dedicated in 1915. Its mix of Renaissance and Baroque architecture and massive dome make it unique in the Twin Cities. I can't imagine Saint Paul without this presence looking over downtown from the top of Ramsey Hill. But I like this view of the Cathedral from Selby Avenue the best. It has a more "human" feel from this direction.
Tim Voss > Opening Coneflower, Lyndale Gardens; Minneapolis, Minnesota

I saw this hybridized coneflower and I wanted it for black and white.
